NOVAGOLD Resources Inc. is a development-stage precious metals company focused on advancing the Donlin Gold project in Alaska. The company currently holds a 60% ownership interest in Donlin Gold LLC and is in the process of acquiring the remaining 40% from Paulson Advisers LLC in an all-share transaction expected to close by year-end 2026. Donlin Gold contains approximately 40 million ounces of Measured and Indicated Mineral Resources (inclusive of Mineral Reserves) across approximately 560 million tonnes grading 2.22 grams per tonne — more than double the global industry average grade for comparable deposits. The project is expected to produce an average of more than one million ounces of gold per year over a 27-year mine life once in production, with projected average annual production of 1.3 million ounces during its first 10 full years. Donlin Gold is a federally permitted project and the company is currently advancing a Bankable Feasibility Study targeted for completion in 2027.
