Did AEHR Beat Earnings? Q3 2026 Results
Aehr Test Systems delivered a mixed fiscal third-quarter 2026 report, narrowing its losses beyond what Wall Street had expected while falling short on the top line. The semiconductor test equipment maker posted a non-GAAP loss of $0.05 per diluted share, beating the $0.07 consensus estimate by 28.57%, but revenue of $10.31 million missed the $10.85 million consensus by 4.91% and fell 43.7% from $18.31 million a year earlier. The shortfall reflected a widening gap between orders booked and systems shipped, a timing dynamic that was dramatically underscored by the quarter's headline figure: $37.20 million in bookings, yielding a book-to-bill ratio exceeding 3.5x, driven by production wins for AI processors, next-generation hyperscale accelerators, and a new silicon photonics customer targeting data center optical interconnects. The stock slipped following the report despite the bookings strength. Looking ahead, management reaffirmed second-half fiscal 2026 revenue guidance of $25 million to $30 million, lifted full-year expectations to the high end of $45 million to $50 million, and signaled significant revenue growth in fiscal 2027.
- Quarterly bookings of $37.2 million with book-to-bill ratio over 3.5x
- Strong AI and data center infrastructure demand for both WLBI and PLBI solutions
- Production WLBI order from lead AI processor customer for FOX-XP systems for data center training and inference
- Major new silicon photonics customer win for hyperscale data center optical interconnect applications
- Production win for Sonoma PLBI systems for next-generation AI accelerators from lead hyperscale customer
“We are very pleased with the strong momentum in our business across multiple market segments, highlighted by more than $37 million in quarterly bookings and a book-to-bill ratio exceeding 3.5x. Demand continues to accelerate across both WLBI and PLBI as semiconductor devices grow in size, complexity, and power and are increasingly deployed in mission-critical AI, networking, automotive, and industrial applications.”

Forward Guidance & Outlook
Aehr reiterated second-half fiscal 2026 guidance (November 29, 2025 through May 29, 2026) of revenue between $25 million and $30 million and non-GAAP net loss per diluted share between $(0.09) and $(0.05). Full-year fiscal 2026 revenue is now expected on the high side of the $45 million to $50 million range. Second-half bookings are expected on the high end of the $60 million to $80 million range. The company expects a significant near-term follow-on production order from its lead hyperscale customer for PLBI systems to be shipped during fiscal 2027, and believes it is well-positioned to deliver significant revenue growth in fiscal 2027.
