Did AEHR Beat Earnings? Q2 2026 Results
Aehr Test Systems delivered a disappointing fiscal second quarter, missing on both top and bottom lines as sluggish customer demand weighed on results. Revenue fell 26.5% year-over-year to $9.88 million, coming in 14.62% below the $11.58 million consensus estimate, while the company posted a non-GAAP loss of $0.04 per diluted share, missing the $-0.0367 estimate by 8.99%. The shortfall was driven largely by a slow bookings environment, with quarterly bookings of just $6.20 million leaving backlog at $11.80 million. Despite the miss, shares rose sharply after management reinstated second-half fiscal 2026 guidance, pointing to improved customer visibility and projecting H2 revenue of $25.00 million to $30.00 million, with non-GAAP net loss per diluted share between $0.09 and $0.05. More notably, the company guided for H2 bookings of $60.00 million to $80.00 million, fueled by growing demand across its AI processor wafer-level and Sonoma packaged-part burn-in platforms, a combination management believes would set the stage for a substantially stronger fiscal 2027.
- Softer than anticipated Q2 revenue
- Expanded engagements and completed production installations for WLBI across multiple end markets
- Bookings of $6.2 million for the quarter
- Backlog of $11.8 million with effective backlog of $18.3 million including bookings since quarter end
“While second quarter revenue was softer than anticipated, we made significant progress in both wafer-level burn-in (WLBI) and packaged-part burn-in (PPBI) segments and are very excited about our prospects moving forward. Based on customer forecasts recently provided to Aehr, we believe our bookings in the second half of this fiscal year will be between $60 million and $80 million, which would set the stage for a very strong fiscal 2027 that begins on May 30, 2026.”

Forward Guidance & Outlook
For the second half of fiscal 2026 (November 29, 2025 through May 29, 2026), Aehr expects revenue between $25 million and $30 million and non-GAAP net loss per diluted share between $(0.09) and $(0.05). The company expects second-half bookings between $60 million and $80 million, which management believes would set the stage for a very strong fiscal 2027. A lead PPBI production customer for AI processors has provided a substantial forecast for AI ASIC production capacity with shipments beginning in Q1 of fiscal 2027.
