Did OOMA Beat Earnings? Q3 2026 Results
Ooma posted a mixed fiscal third quarter, delivering a sharp profitability beat while falling short on the top line, sending shares lower in after-hours trading. The cloud communications provider reported non-GAAP earnings of $0.27 per diluted share, ahead of the $0.22 consensus by 22.73%, while revenue of $67.63 million grew 3.8% year-over-year but trailed the $71.42 million estimate by 5.31%. The profitability strength was anchored by improved operating leverage, as the company swung to GAAP net income of $1.39 million from a loss of $2.36 million a year ago, aided by lower research and development expenses and reduced restructuring costs. Subscription and services revenue, which represented 92% of total revenue, was the primary growth engine, fueled by continued expansion in Ooma Business. Looking ahead, management raised full-year non-GAAP net income guidance to $28.20 to $28.70 million and lifted revenue guidance to $270.30 to $270.90 million, with contributions from the recently completed FluentStream acquisition and the pending Phone.com deal expected to close in late December.
