Did PWR Beat Earnings? Q1 2026 Results
Quanta Services posted a blowout first quarter for 2026, beating Wall Street expectations across the board and extending its streak of topping consensus EPS estimates to four consecutive quarters. The infrastructure services giant reported adjusted diluted EPS of $2.68, well ahead of the $2.03 consensus estimate by 31.88%, while revenue of $7.87 billion topped forecasts by 12.67% and grew 26.3% from $6.23 billion a year ago. The outperformance was broad-based, with both the Electric Infrastructure Solutions segment, which generated $6.47 billion in revenue at an 8.7% operating margin, and the Underground Utility and Infrastructure Solutions segment contributing meaningfully, the latter improving its operating margin to 7.5% from 6.0% a year earlier. Backlog climbed to $48.47 billion, underscoring the sustained demand environment that management attributes to the convergence of utility, power generation, and large-load markets. Looking ahead, Quanta raised its full-year 2026 adjusted diluted EPS guidance to $13.55 to $14.25 and now expects revenue between $34.70 billion and $35.20 billion.
