The Roundhill S&P 500 0DTE Covered Call Strategy ETF (XDTE) is an actively managed exchange-traded fund designed to generate high current income while maintaining exposure to the S&P 500. Instead of using a traditional covered call strategy (which usually involves buying the underlying stocks and selling monthly options), XDTE uses an aggressive, ultra-short-term approach. The find uses a combination of synthetic long exposure and out-of-the-money zero-day call options on the S&P 500.
