Markets in Asia were rose sharply.
The Nikkei was up 1.4% to 17,011. Bridgestone was up .9% to 2085.Canon was up .1% to 6690. Daiwa Securities was up 1.3% to 1334. Fuji Film was up .6% to 4890. Hitachi was up 1.1% to 720. Honda was up 2.3% to 4420. NEC was up 2.9% to 575. NTT was up 1% to 600000. Softbank was up 2% to 2490. Sony was up .4% to 5080. Toshiba was up .9% to 783. Toyota was up 1.2% to 7550. Yahoo Japan was 3.3% to 50600.
The Hang Seng rose 1.5% to 19,240. Cathay Pacific was up 1.3% to 18.8. China Mobile was up 1.9% to 62.9. China Netcom was up 3.9% to 18.98 China Unicom was up 5.8% to 10.36. HSBC was up .9% to 124.5. PCCW was up .4% to 4.75.
The KOSPI was up 1% to 2,442,
The Straits Times was .8% to 2,921.
The Shanghai Composite was up .4% to 2,373.
