Markets in Asia were mixed

The Nikkei was down .7% to 16,744. Bridgestone was was down 1.9% to 2275. Canon was up .8% to 6260. Fuji Film was down 1.1% to 4700. Hitachi was down .1% to 855. Honda was down 1.4% to 4090. NEC was flat at 605. NTT was up .8% to 595000. Docomo was up 1.5% to 208000. Sharp was up 1.4% to 2195. Softbank was up 2.9% to 2975. Toshiba was up 1.5% to 769. Toyota was down .7% to 7610. Yahoo Japan was down .2% to 39550.

The Hang Seng was up .1% to 18,993. Cathay Pacific was down .2% to 19.22. China Mobile was up 2.1% to 70.1. China Netcom was down .8% to 16.96. China Unicom was down .7% to 9.37. HSBC was down .3% to 133.9. PCCW was down .6% to 4.65.

The KOSPI was up .1% to 1,428.

The Straits Times was down .8% to 3,069.

The Shanghai Composite was down .7% to 2,930.
