Markets in Europe were down slightly at 5.50 AM New York time.
The FTSE fell .5% to 4,639. Barclays (BCS) was up 1% to 726. BP (BP) was down 1.1% to 565. BT (BT) was down .9% to 317. GSK (GSK) was down .7% to 1455. Reuters (RTRSY) was down .3% to 477.5. Vodafone (VOD) was down .1% to 143.1.
The DAXX was down .1% to 7,381. DaimlerChrysler (DCX) was down .5% to 60.08. DB (DB) was down .5% to 113.2. DT (DT) was down .1% to 13.46. Siemens (SI) was up a fraction at 89.56.
The CAC 40 was down .1% to 5,941. Alcatel-Lucent (ALU) was down 1.1% to 9.69. AXA (AXA) was down .2% to 33.89. France Telecom (FTE) was down .3% to 21.56. ST Micro (STM) was down .3% to 12.37.
