Markets in Europe were lower at 6.20 AM New York time.
The FTSE fell .5% to 6,569. Barclays (BCS) was .2% to 734. BP (BP) was down 1.3% to 569.5. BT (BT) was up .9% to 319.5. Reuters (RTRSY) was up 4.3% to 642.5.
The DAXX was down 1% to 7,452. DaimlerChrysler (DCX) was down 1% to 59.63. DB (DB) was down .7% to 115.45. DT (DT) was down .9% to 12.64. Siemens (SI) was down 1.5% to 88.4.
The CAC 40 was down .6% to 6,038. Alcatel-Lucent (ALU) was down .4% to 9.73. AXA (AXA) was down .7% to 34.26. France Telecom (FTE) was up .4% to 22.01. ST Micro (STM) was down .8% to 14.44.
