Markets in Asia were down with Shanghai off sharply.
The Nikkei fell .9% to 17,513. KDDI was up 2.9% to1050000. NTT (NTT) rose 3.4% to 585000. Sony (SNE) fell 2.4% to 6380. Toyota (TM) was up .1% to 7330.
The Hang Seng fell .6% to 20,856. China Life (LFC) rose .2% to 26.1. China Mobile (CHL) fell .8% to 73.15. China Netcom (CN) fell 2.9% to 18.62. HSBC (HBC) fell .4% to 146.3. PCCW (PCW) fell .8% to 4.98.
The Shanghai Composite fell 3.6% to 3,899.
