Top Active Trader Alert Stocks (BIDU, CCME, KLIC, OREX, SIMO, VVUS)

(NASDAQ: OREX), Silicon Motion Technology Corporation (NASDAQ: SIMO), and Vivus, Inc. (NASDAQ: VVUS).

Baidu.com, Inc. (NASDAQ: BIDU) is up 9% premarket to $117.71, slightly above the company’s 52-week range of $41.68-$115.04. China’s Google has posted better-than-expected earnings.

China MediaExpress Holdings (NASDAQ: CCME) is down 8% premarket to $16.48, relative to a 52-week range of $7.58-$23.97.

Kulicke and Soffa Industries (NASDAQ: KLIC) is up 10% premarket to $10.70, relative to a 52-week range of $4.65-$10.00. K&S reported better-than-expected first quarter results.

Orexigen Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ: OREX) has lost roughly 75% of its value on 7.7 million shares traded. Shares of OREX have dropped to $2.43, relative to a 52-week range of $3.81-$11.15.  The FDA expressed serious concerns over the company’s weight loss drug, and demanded the company conduct further tests.

Silicon Motion Technology Corporation (NASDAQ: SIMO) is up 16.5% to $6.48, relative to a 52-week range of $2.64-$6.50. The company reported much better than expected quarterly revenue.

Vivus, Inc. (NASDAQ: VVUS) is down 7% on heavy volume to $8.34, relative to a 52-week range of $4.69-$13.68. Much of this loss may be pullback from yesterday’s gain.
