Research In Motion (NASDAQ: RIMM) is down close to 14% premarket to $48.84, relative to a 52-week range of $42.53-$73.37. Weakness in Blackberry sales caused RIM to cut current-quarter profit guidance.
Sonic Corporation (NASDAQ: SONC) is up 8.5% premarket to $10.80, relative to a 52-week range of $7.28-$12.20. The company announced that its same-store sales increased roughly 5% for the first two months of the quarter.
Sunpower Corporation (NASDAQ: SPWRA) is up 39% premarket on heavy volume to $22.42, relative to a 52-week range of $9.61-$19.88. Total SA (NYSE: TOT) announced it would acquire the solar company yesterday.
