Live Nasdaq Composite: Micron Lifts Market Boat Alongside Mixed Economic Signals
The Coca-Cola Co. (NYSE: KO) and Swiss-based Nestle S.A. have participated in a 50-50 joint venture called Beverage Partners Worldwide (BPW) for the past decade to sell tea products in North America, Europe, and Asia. That partnership is dissolving as BPW will no longer sell the tea products except in Europe and Canada.
Coke will license Nestea products for sale in Taiwan and Hong Kong, but the US soft-drink company plans to replace the Nestea products with its own brands in the US.
