Comscore reports that the No.1 internet property in the US in December was Google, the sites of which had 187.1 million unique visitors for the month. The huge search operations edged out Microsoft at 177.3 million and Yahoo! at 176.5.
Social network has surged to 162.5 million, which it puts it within striking distance of the leaders based on its growth rate
Among all internet users in December the audience was 220.4 million.
