The quiet period has expired and the analyst have been mostly favorable to valuations of Zynga, Inc. (NASDAQ: ZNGA).  It seems that there have been more and more ads on the internet for the free Godfather social networking game, and this is from Kabam.  Too be or not to be…. Godfather, or Mafia Wars?  Kabam has been funded by Google Inc. (NASDAQ: GOOG) via Google Ventures and the business development company (which is a closed-end fund) called Keating Capital, Inc. (NASDAQ: KIPO) owns shares of Kabam.

Keating touts itself as a pre-IPO fund and that would certainly lead many to believe that Kabam is going to be an initial public offering during the next 12 to 24 months if the market allows.  More recent news puts out the possibility of a Kabam sale. so your guess is as good as ours.

As far as which MMORPG games it has for social networking platforms, The Godfather: Five Families, Kingdoms of Camelot, Glory of Rome, Global Warfare, Dragons of Atlantis, and Thirst of Night are some of its key games.
