Nokia Launches Cheap Smartphone

If Nokia cannot compete with Apple at the high end of the smartphone market, then it will see if it can taking a winning position with a cheap handset. It will be called the Lumia 6100 and will be powered by Microsoft’s Mobile OS.

Nokia’s problems is that the Windows product has been largely rejected by the market. And, Nokia has been successfully flanked in the smartphone market by Samsung, HTC, and other companies which run the Google Android OS on their smartphones
