Gas Prices Finally Tick Down--A Tiny Amount

The AAA Fuel Gauge reports that gas prices dropped, ever so slightly, yesterday. After weeks of increases, it was not much of a relief. And, the high price of oil means gas prices will continue higher.

The average price nationwide of a gallon of regular fell from $3.767 to $3.764, which is hardly a rounding error. One month ago, the price was $3.478

The average price in California, which has about 12% of the US population with 37 million residents was $4.346
