Ensco plc (NYSE: ESV) posted a new 52-week low on Monday. Shares dropped about 5.3% to $23.17 from Friday’s closing price of $24.47. The stock’s 52-week high is $55.89. Volume is about 10% above the daily average of around 5.9 million shares. BMO Capital downgraded the stock to Underperform and lowered the price target from $30 to $17 a share after Ensco’s sharp dividend drop from $3.00 to $0.60.
Lumber Liquidators Holdings Inc. (NYSE: LL) dropped more than 26% on Monday to post a new 52-week low of $38.19 after closing at $51.86 on Friday. The stock’s 52-week high is $110.52. Share volume was more than 20-times the daily average of around 1 million shares traded. The wood flooring manufacturer was the subject of an (unflattering) report on the CBS news program “60 Minutes” last night.
NRG Energy Inc. (NYSE: NRG) dropped about 3.2% on Monday to post a new 52-week low of $23.21 after closing at $23.98 on Friday. The stock’s 52-week high is $38.09. Share volume was about 10% below the daily average of around 4.4 million shares traded. The company continues to take some lumps over last Friday’s poor earnings report.
