October 12, 2015: Here are four stocks trading with heavy volume among 25 equities making new 52-week lows today.

VMware Inc. (NYSE: VMW) dropped more than 11% on Monday to post a new 52-week low at $69.75 after closing at $79.65 on Friday. The stock’s 52-week high is $93.43. Share volume was nearly 15 times the daily average of around 1.8 million. The company’s stock was beaten down on reports that majority owner EMC will be acquired by Dell.

Biogen Inc. (NYSE: BIIB) dropped about 2.1% on Monday to post a new 52-week low of $263.51 against a 52-week high of $480.18. The stock closed at $269.16 on Friday night. Volume was about 10% above the daily average of around 3 million shares traded. The company had no specific news today.

SunCoke Energy Inc. (NYSE: SXC) dropped nearly 29% on Monday to post a new 52-week low of $6.95 against a high of $24.09. The stock closed at $9.75 on Friday night. Volume was more than 4 times the daily average of around 720,000 shares traded. The company reported a Q3 loss before markets opened this morning.

Sientra Inc. (NASDAQ: SIEN) posted a new low on Monday. Shares dropped almost 21% to a low of $5.55 from Friday’s closing price of $7.01. The stock’s 52-week high is $26.87. Volume was about 7 times the daily average of around 290,000. The company on Friday suspended sales of implant devices made by a Brazilian contractor.
