Share volume topped 13 million shares, about 60% of the daily average of nearly 25 million. The company had no specific news today, but this is the third consecutive new low for the shares.
Wal-Mart Stores Inc. (NYSE: WMT) dropped about 0.2% on Wednesday to post a new 52-week low of $72.34 after closing at $72.47 on Tuesday. The stock’s 52-week high is $90.97. Share volume exceeded 9 million, more than a third higher than the daily average of around 7.1 million shares traded. The company had no specific news today.
Senior Housing Properties Trust (NYSE: SNH) posted a new 52-week low on Wednesday. Shares dropped about 2.4% to $17.71 from Tuesday’s closing price of $18.15. The stock’s 52-week high is $24.50.
