Volume was about 50% above the daily average of around 1.8 million shares traded. The company’s shares continue to slide since its July IPO. Shares are on track to close up more than 2% after the mid-afternoon plunge to the new low.
Pacira Pharmaceuticals Inc. (NASDAQ: PCRX) posted a new low on Wednesday. Shares dropped about 2.3% to a low of $35.78 from Tuesday’s closing price of $36.62. The stock’s 52-week high is $121.95. Volume was nearly double the daily average of around 880,000. The company had no specific news today. Shares recovered after an early drop and are on track to close up more than 4% on the day.
