Volume totaled about double the daily average of around 240,000 shares. The semiconductor maker had no specific news on Wednesday.
Stellar Biotechnologies Inc. (NASDAQ: SBOT) dropped about 16% on Wednesday to post a new 52-week low of $4.44 against a 52-week high of $10.98. The stock closed at $5.29 on Tuesday night.
