January 30, 2018: Here are four stocks trading with heavy volume among 120 equities making new 52-week lows in Tuesday’s session. On the NYSE decliners led advancers by about 4 to 1 and on the Nasdaq, decliners led advancers by almost 3 to 1.

Southwestern Energy Co. (NYSE: SWN) traded down 12.6% Tuesday and posted a new 52-week low of $4.37 after closing Monday at $5.00. The stock’s 52-week high is $9.75. Volume was over 43 million, more than double the daily average of about 21.8 million shares. The company had no specific news.

Colony NorthStar Inc. (NYSE: CLNS) dropped about 6.3% Tuesday to post a new 52-week low of $8.50 after closing at $9.07 on Monday. The stock’s 52-week high is $14.74. Volume was around 17.5 million, more than four times the daily average of around 3.9 million. The company had no specific news. Shares traded up about 1% late Tuesday afternoon at around $9.15.

Range Resources Corp. (NYSE: RRC) fell about 4.4% Tuesday to post a new 52-week low of $14.43 after closing at $15.09 on Monday. The 52-week high is $34.93. Volume of about 15 million was nearly double the daily average of around 7.7 million shares traded. The company had no specific news.

Gulfport Energy Corp. (NASDAQ: GPOR) traded down about 10% Tuesday and posted a new 52-week low of $10.90 after closing Monday at $12.12. The stock’s 52-week high is $9.75. Volume was over 12 million, nearly four times the daily average of about 3.4million shares. The company had no specific news announced its capital budget and a stock repurchase program after markets closed Monday.
