Alibaba, Cisco, Nvidia, Walmart and More Earnings Coming This Week

The latest earnings reporting season has all but passed, but a few major companies have yet to share their off-season results. With summer winding down, markets still near all-time highs and concerns over trade wars looming, who knows what could happen. Still, 24/7 Wall St. has put together a preview of the most prominent earnings reports expected this week.

We have included the consensus earnings estimates, as well as the stock price and trading history. Be advised that the earnings and revenue estimates may change ahead of the formal reports, and some companies may change reporting dates as well.

Watch for Cisco Systems Inc. (NASDAQ: CSCO) to release its most recent quarterly results late on Wednesday. The consensus forecast calls for $0.82 in earnings per share (EPS) and $13.39 billion in revenue for the fiscal fourth quarter. Shares traded most recently at $52.43. The consensus price target is $58.91, and shares have traded between $40.25 and $58.26 in the past 52 weeks.

Alibaba Group Holding Ltd. (NYSE: BABA) is scheduled to report its fiscal first-quarter results before the open on Thursday. The consensus estimates call for $1.49 in EPS and revenue of $16.09 billion. Shares were changing hands at $159.12 on Friday’s close. The consensus price target is $221.61, and the 52-week trading range is $129.77 to $195.72.

Walmart Inc.’s (NYSE: WMT) fiscal second-quarter report is due before Thursday’s opening bell as well. The consensus estimates call for $1.22 in EPS and $130.21 billion in revenue. Shares closed trading at $107.28. The consensus price target is $111.93, and the 52-week range trading range is $85.78 to $115.49.

Look for Nvidia Corp. (NASDAQ: NVDA) to release its most recent quarterly results late on Thursday. The consensus forecast calls for $1.14 in EPS and $2.55 billion in revenue for the fiscal second quarter. Shares were trading at $154.18 on Friday’s close. The consensus price target is $182.39, and shares have traded between $124.46 and $292.76 in the past 52 weeks.

And Deere & Co. (NYSE: DE) is expected to report its fiscal third-quarter results before the open on Friday. On average, analysts anticipate $2.86 in EPS and $9.4 billion in revenue. Shares closed at $154.84 on Friday. The consensus price target is $168.61. The stock has a 52-week trading range of $128.32 to $171.22.
