In its latest analysis, Grok, the chatbot from xAI, ranks Ondo (CRYPTO:ONDO) as the top contender for potential gains by the end of 2027. However, it predicts that Chainlink (CRYPTO:LINK) will see the most substantial growth if the trading volume of tokenized stocks grows tenfold. Tokenized stocks refer to blockchain tokens that mirror the price of traditional shares. Grok’s price targets for the end of 2027 are set at $3,100 for Ethereum (CRYPTO:ETH), $17.50 for Chainlink, and $0.72 for Ondo.

All three cryptocurrencies are trading well below their peaks. Ethereum is priced at $2,267, down 54.2% from its all-time high of $4,946 reached in August 2025. Chainlink is trading at $11.21, down 78.7% from its all-time high, while Ondo is at $0.39, 81.8% below its peak. In the past 30 days, Ethereum has declined about 15.6%, Chainlink 20.6%, and Ondo 22.5%, despite the growing interest in tokenized stocks.

Grok’s 2027 Targets Put Ethereum, Chainlink and Ondo Back at November 2025 Levels

Grok’s analysis is based on starting prices of $2,290 for Ethereum, $11.28 for Chainlink, and $0.39 for Ondo. From these figures, reaching Grok’s targets would yield gains of 84.6% for Ondo, 55.1% for Chainlink, and 35.4% for Ethereum. This means a $1,000 investment could grow to about $1,846 in Ondo, $1,551 in Chainlink, and $1,354 in Ethereum.

Market capitalization plays a key role in this ranking. Ethereum holds a market cap of around $277 billion, making it the second-largest cryptocurrency. Chainlink has a market cap of about $8.6 billion, ranking it 17th, and Ondo’s market cap is approximately $1.9 billion, placing it 49th. Their smaller market caps mean Chainlink and Ondo need less new investment to drive price moves.

However, Grok’s price targets remain below its all-time highs. Chainlink’s target of $17.50 is just shy of its one-year high of $17.60 from November 2, 2025, while Ondo’s $0.72 target slightly exceeds its one-year high of $0.70. Essentially, Grok is projecting a return to the price levels seen in November 2025.

Chainlink Needs More Partners as Companies Resist Tokenized Stocks

Chainlink operates as an oracle network, providing essential data, such as stock prices, to blockchains. Its 24/7 service enables ongoing pricing for tokenized shares, even when traditional exchanges are closed. Notably, lending platform Aave was the initial launch partner, and integration with services like S&P Global Ratings and crypto bank Anchorage has expanded its partner base.

Grok’s pessimistic projection of $8 for Chainlink, 29% below its current price, assumes its 24/7 product stays limited to one launch partner. Grok assigns this scenario a 35% probability, the lowest among the three cryptocurrencies analyzed.

On the other hand, Ondo serves as an issuer, creating tokens backed by shares it holds. Demand for tokenized stocks is rising, with around $3.9 billion trading on the Solana (CRYPTO:SOL) blockchain in October. Meanwhile, tokenization firm Securitize has rolled out 13 additional tokenized stocks on Solana.

Despite this momentum, many companies are resisting tokenization on platforms like OKX and the Intercontinental Exchange, with 50 of 62 companies opposing these initiatives. Grok’s bear case for Ondo is $0.22, 43% below the current price, and assumes this resistance limits new token issuance. Grok gives that scenario a 42% probability.

Ethereum ETF Outflows Put Grok’s $3,100 Target at Risk

Spot Ethereum ETFs hold ETH directly and trade like stocks. Between October 5 and October 30, these funds registered net inflows on only three specific days. The most significant outflow occurred on October 6, when about $202 million was pulled out.

During this period, cumulative net inflows fell from about $13.8 billion to $12.3 billion. Additionally, BlackRock’s iShares Ethereum Trust (NASDAQ:ETHA) has shed around 580,000 ETH, valued at about $1.3 billion, over the past month. Grok’s bearish target of $1,800 for Ethereum, which is 21% below its current price, assumes faster outflows and a potential shift of trading volume to Solana, with a 48% probability assigned to this outcome, the highest among the three cryptocurrencies.

Which Crypto Gains Most if Tokenized Stocks Take Off?

If tokenized stocks truly take off, Chainlink is positioned to gain the most and has the highest likelihood of reaching Grok’s price target. However, Ondo offers the potential for greater percentage gains. As a single issuer, Ondo faces challenges due to pushback from companies over their shares. In contrast, Chainlink gets paid whichever issuer comes out ahead, since every tokenized share requires a real-time price feed.

The path forward for Chainlink likely involves forming new partnerships for its 24/7 product and surpassing its 50-day average price of $12.62 and the September 28 high of $15.44.

If the 24/7 integration remains limited to one partner, Chainlink may face downward pressure towards the $8 target proposed by Grok. For Ethereum, a key indicator to watch will be a sustained increase in positive ETF flows as it aims to reclaim its 50-day average of $2,516. For Ondo, a close above its 50-day average of $0.45, alongside new share listings, will be crucial. Should ETF outflows continue through December, Ethereum’s chances of reaching $3,100 by the end of 2027 could diminish significantly.
