Adoption rates: iOS 12 vs. Android Pie

In this case, slow and steady does not win the race.

 

Less than three weeks after its Sept. 17 release, according to Apple, the newest version of its mobile operating system had been installed on 50% of iOS devices.

By contrast, Android Pie is almost nowhere to be seen. Seven weeks after its Aug. 7 release, according to Android Authority, it had been installed on less than 0.1% of Android devices.
