Look who's no longer covering Apple

By my count, 13 Wall Street analysts who were following Apple last year have left the beat.

Some have dropped the stock. Some have gone silent. Some have left the industry altogether.

A few names jump out at me from the spreadsheet below:

  • Sherri Scribner, long-time Apple bear, left Deutsche Bank after 16 years to become Director of Strategic Development at Amphenol
  • Kulbinder Garcha, more of a bull, left Credit Suisse after 15 years to work for the investment authority of Qatar.
  • Pierre Ferragu, who made a splash in August with a market-low $165 price target and hasn’t been heard from since.
