Now that Christmas Day is behind us, retailers can turn to end-of-the-year clearance sales, and Amazon.com Inc. (NASDAQ: AMZN) has a long list of items on its sale list.

We’ve been looking at TVs, both smart and not, and Amazon lists 20 models on its clearance shelves Saturday morning that carry a 50% or larger discount to the list price. A Sony XBR49X830C 49-inch 4K Ultra HD Smart LED TV is being offered for $798, a saving of 50% from its $1,599.99 list price. A Samsung UN65D8000 65-inch 1080p 240 Hz 3D LED HDTV (2011 Model) is being sold for $1,998, a savings of 63% from the list price of $5,399.99.

For the kitchen, Amazon is offering a Cuisinart DLC-2ABC mini prep plus food processor for $39.95, a savings of $35.05 from the regular price. A KitchenAid RKSM6573CU 6-Qt. Professional Bowl-Lift Stand Mixer (certified refurbished) is being sold for $254.94, a 15% savings from the regular price of $299.99 for a refurbished machine. The list price on the new mixer is around $349.

Saturday’s deals of the day include a variety of Pelican camera cases, all at discounts of 61% to 64% ($49.99 to $199.99 on sale). Amazon’s Kindle Fire HDX 8.9-inch tablet with Wi-Fi and 4G LTE is selling for $349.99, a savings of 22% off the regular price of $449.99. A synthetic ostrich skin tote bag that normally sells for $69.99 is available for $19.99, a savings of 71%.

Amazon lists 3,635 pages of 24 items per page as being available on Saturday’s daily deals. Some, like the camera cases, have countdown clock showing how much time is left for buyers to take advantage of the offer. The rest, well, they may be everyday daily deals. Checking that out is left as an exercise for the reader.
