Cipher Mining closed the session up 10.4% at $16.66, the widest gain across 111 priority names. At the other end, ON Semiconductor gave up 8.9% and Diamondback Energy 7.8%, a roughly 19-point spread between the best and worst names on the day.

Cipher Mining was the standout mover among 111 priority names on September 16, adding 10.4% on the session. That put it clear of the next-best gainer, Bruker.
The rest of the top five gainers added to a broadly constructive picture on the day: iQIYI, Coherent, and Axon Enterprise all finished higher.
ON Semiconductor was the hardest-hit name, shedding 8.93%, while Diamondback Energy also fell. Those two declines accounted for the heaviest pressure across the watchlist.
