Meta (META) was the standout performer of the session, climbing 6.13% to close at $670.18 and pulling much of big tech along with it. NVIDIA added 3.88% to $210.64, while restaurant chain Cava rose 5.73% to $72.11, Ford gained 3.05% to $14.03, and Dutch Bros closed up 2.93% at $67.57 — a broad advance that spread well beyond the traditional tech sector.
On the losing side, Opendoor Technologies (OPEN) bore the worst of it, dropping 10.09% to $4.76 as pressure on real estate technology names intensified. The selling was not confined to Opendoor: DigitalOcean fell 7.01% to $130.97, Tempus AI slid 6.05% to $57.78, Digital Turbine lost 5.93% to close at $10.55, and cybersecurity firm Rubrik declined 5.45% to $83.91.
