Opendoor Technologies touched $3.29 on August 28, taking out the 52-week floor set only ten days earlier. A fresh low that immediately breaks a recent one signals selling pressure has not found a level to hold.
The current price puts the market cap at roughly a third of where shares traded last September, one of the steeper declines among U.S.-listed real estate technology names over that stretch.

Each successive new low resets the technical reference points traders use to size risk. With the prior floor already breached, there is little recent trading history immediately below to anchor new support.
A sustained close under the prior low is the kind of development that typically prompts institutional holders to reassess position sizing, since it removes a key anchor and opens price territory with no nearby base to defend.
