Microsoft's MAI-Image-2.6-Flash debuted at third place on the Artificial Analysis Image Editing Leaderboard, a result that marks a significant jump over the Flash variant from the previous generation of the MAI-Image line.
The model now sits alongside MAI-Image-2.6 on what Artificial Analysis calls the Pareto frontier for quality versus price, meaning Microsoft has two of its own in-house image models at the efficient edge of that tradeoff simultaneously.
