Rivian shares touched $11.43 on October 26, breaking below the 52-week low set just three sessions earlier. That rapid succession of fresh lows signals sellers are not pausing to test support before pushing the stock lower again.
Rivian ran as high as $22.45 over the past year before a prolonged slide erased most of those gains. Every meaningful recovery attempt this year has stalled at a lower peak than the one before it, a pattern that leaves buyers with progressively less cushion.

Rivian's market cap now sits at $16.5 billion. For a company still scaling production and working toward sustainable margins, a shrinking market cap tightens the financial flexibility that growth-stage automakers depend on.
The next thing to watch is whether the stock can reclaim the prior low, now sitting just above the current price, or whether that level flips into resistance. A failure to recover that ground quickly would confirm the downtrend rather than mark a turning point.
