Server hardware owned Friday's close: Hewlett Packard Enterprise added 12.2% and Dell 11.5%, with ON Semiconductor and Super Micro also finishing up more than 7%. NuScale Power sat at the other extreme, down 14.8% to $8.70.

Friday's session belonged to server hardware, with Hewlett Packard Enterprise up 12.2% and Dell Technologies close behind, while ON Semiconductor and Super Micro Computer rounded out a broad advance across the infrastructure stack.

Cipher Mining joined the rally as well, a sign the enthusiasm extended beyond pure server hardware into adjacent compute-intensive businesses.

The session's sharpest loss landed on NuScale Power, which fell 14.8%, with DigitalOcean and SanDisk also lower, a reminder that not all corners of the technology and infrastructure space shared in the day's gains.

Rubrik and Cloudflare also finished in the red, pointing to selective pressure on software and networking names even as hardware names charged higher.
