NVIDIA's Cosmos 3 Edge is a 4-billion-parameter vision model designed to run locally on Jetson hardware, meaning the AI reasoning happens directly on the robot or machine rather than being routed through a remote data center. That on-device approach is especially significant for factory environments where latency, connectivity, and data-security concerns make cloud dependence a liability.
