About 3M

3M Company (NYSE: MMM) is a diversified science and technology company that develops and manufactures a broad range of products for industrial, transportation, electronics, safety, and consumer markets globally. The company operates through three reportable business segments: Safety and Industrial (abrasives, automotive aftermarket, electrical markets, industrial adhesives and tapes, industrial specialties, personal safety, and roofing granules), Transportation and Electronics (advanced materials, automotive and aerospace, commercial branding and transportation, and electronics), and Consumer (consumer safety and well-being, home and auto care, home improvement, and packaging and expression). 3M leverages diverse technology platforms across materials science, manufacturing processes, and application engineering to serve customers in nearly every country. The company is undergoing a significant transformation, having spun off its Health Care business as Solventum in April 2024 and exited manufactured PFAS products by end of 2025. 3M continues to manage substantial litigation liabilities related to PFAS, respirator masks/asbestos, and Combat Arms Earplugs while executing a structural transformation program to redesign its manufacturing, distribution, and business processes. Mad Money w/ Jim Cramer 9/21/26

  • Retrospective on Tim Cook's Apple tenure, which ended September 1, 2026, built from a decade of Cramer interviews
  • Cramer's original thesis: Apple as the future health company and the future credit card company
  • Cook cited 11,000 ResearchKit signups in 24 hours for a Stanford cardiovascular study
  • Cramer framed Apple Pay as pushing retailers and card networks toward adoption

With Cook out of the CEO chair as of September 1, the case for Apple built on services, health data and payments now belongs to someone else to defend. Cramer's replay is a reminder that the growth story he backed for a decade rested on those businesses.
