About Nokia
Nokia Corporation is a global connectivity technology company operating across fixed, mobile, and transport networks. The company is organized into two primary operating segments: Network Infrastructure, which serves AI & Cloud customers, telecommunication providers, and mission critical enterprises with optical transport, IP routing, data center switching, and fiber broadband equipment; and Mobile Infrastructure, which provides cloud-native mobile core software, AI-driven operations and analytics, radio access products across all 3GPP technology generations, and manages Nokia's patent portfolio through technology licensing. Nokia also maintains a Portfolio Businesses segment for non-core units under strategic review. The company completed its acquisition of Infinera in early 2025, expanding its optical networking capabilities. Nokia is actively investing in U.S.-based compound semiconductor manufacturing for optical components, including facilities in San Jose, Pennsylvania, and a planned acquisition of NXP's Arizona fabrication campus. The company serves customers in over 130 countries and derives approximately 55% of net sales in USD, 25% in EUR, and 20% in other currencies. Nokia holds a significant patent portfolio that it licenses across multiple industries. Updated
