About Sonoco
Sonoco Products Company (NYSE: SON) is a global provider of high-value sustainable metal and paper consumer and industrial packaging. The company operates in two reportable segments: Consumer Packaging, which includes metal cans, paper cans, and other consumer packaging solutions, and Industrial Paper Packaging, which includes tubes, cores, reels, and industrial and specialty plastics. With approximately 22,000 employees across 265 operations in 37 countries, Sonoco serves major global brands. The company significantly expanded its metal packaging capabilities through the December 2024 acquisition of Eviosys, a European metal packaging producer, and subsequently divested its Thermoformed and Flexibles Packaging (TFP) and ThermoSafe temperature assured packaging businesses in 2025 to sharpen its focus on core consumer and industrial packaging.
