BorgWarner Inc. (NYSE: BWA) is a global automotive supplier of propulsion technologies for light and commercial vehicle OEMs. It reports four segments:
- **Turbos & Thermal Technologies:** turbochargers and thermal management products.
- **Drivetrain & Morse Systems:** drivetrain and timing/chain systems.
- **PowerDrive Systems:** eMotors, inverters and power electronics for hybrid and electric vehicles.
- **Battery Energy Systems:** battery systems; the company has exited its charging business.
BorgWarner serves internal combustion, hybrid, range-extended and battery-electric vehicle platforms in North America, Europe and China. Recent awards include engine control modules, turbochargers, aluminum-wire eMotors and high-voltage inverters. The company is also developing products for data center and industrial markets.
