Four of Monday's five biggest gainers were bitcoin miners and data center names, led by Cipher Digital's 17.7% close. Shopify ran the other way with an 8.3% drop, the session's sharpest decline across 381 priority stocks.
Latest Activity
A 12.19% move to $371 adds roughly $1.4 billion to a $13.3 billion optical components maker in one session, following Monday's Q1 2027 earnings filing and a fresh $103 million buyback authorization. Keep an eye on whether the gain holds into the close.
Fabrinet opened 13.32% higher at $355.82, the widest single move across 382 priority names this morning. Thomson Reuters anchors the other end, down 9.84%, with Shopify close behind.
Fabrinet just set a fresh 52-week low at $314, 0.3% under the low it made on Oct. 23. The optical components maker filed Q1 2027 results the same day and its board cleared an additional $103 million of buyback capacity.
Data center interconnect demand pushed revenue up 51% year over year, topping Fabrinet's own guidance range on both lines. Management guided December-quarter revenue to $1.6 billion to $1.65 billion, so the AI optics ramp is still accelerating.
Vertiv closed up 16.86% at $243.72, the widest single-name gain across our 382-stock priority list today.
Fabrinet just marked a fresh 52-week low at $363.51, 3.04% under the September 15 floor and exactly half the $725 peak it held in June. The $13 billion optical supplier has now given back a full year of gains.
Cipher Digital's 13.1% drop was the deepest cut in a 385-name priority list at the close. Refiners and Oracle took the other side.
Nearly 29 points of spread separated the top and bottom of the board at Monday's close, with Ciena up 14.29% to $445.37 and Tempus AI down 14.21% to $71.68. Four of the five leaders sit in AI infrastructure names.
Chips and hardware took the top five slots at Thursday's close, led by ON Semiconductor's 5.52% gain, while every big decliner but one was a cybersecurity name. Zscaler's 9.88% drop to $193.43 was the worst in the group.
