[cnxvideo id=”506324″ placement=”ros”]Ultra-wealthy hotel and real estate developer Mohamed Hadid has listed his 630 Nimes Road, Los Angeles, home for $85 million. It was the most visited of all home listings at Realtor.com last week.

Hadid is 68. He may be best known as an owner of several Ritz-Carlton locations, or perhaps as the father of models “Gigi” Hadid and Bella Hadid.

The house at 630 Nimes Road is a huge one, with 10 bedrooms and 14 bathrooms, measuring 35,378 square feet and built in 2007 on 2.2 acres. The house sits in a well-mansioned section between the Bel Air and Holmby Hills sections of Los Angeles. According to the Census, Bel Air has 7,691 residents, 83% of whom are white. The median household income is over $200,000, or nearly four times the national average, and the highest in Los Angeles, according to the LA Times.

The listing:

Le Belv~d~re is a place of magic. A fully-realized dream estate. Shown to pre-qualified buyers only.

It would be interesting to find out how a real estate agent would decide who is and who is not a “pre-qualified buyer” for an $85 million home.
