Asia Markets 2/13/2007 China Unicom, HSBC Down

Markets in Asia were mixed.

The Nikkei rose .7% to 17,621. Bridgestone rose .2% to 2475. Canon fell 1.7% to 6280. Fuji Film fell 1.1% to 5290. Hitachi fell .6% to 819. Honda rose .6% to 4890. NEC fell .5% to 607. NTT was flat at 672000. Docomo was up 1.4% to 218000. Sharp was down .2% to 2125. Softbank was up .2% to 2820. Sony was up .2% to 6000. Toshiba was up .8% to 744. Toyota was up .9% to 8160. Yahoo Japan was up .3% to 43750.

The Hang Seng was down 2.2% to 20,132. Cathay Pacific fell 2.1% to 21.35. China Mobile fell 3.7% to 72.4. China Netcom fell 3.2% to 19.04. China Unicom fell 4.7% to 10.14. HSBC fell .5% to 139.2. PCCW fell .2% to 4.66.

The KOSPI rose.3% to 1,418.

The Straits Times fell .7% to 3,149.

The Shanghai Composite rose .9% to 2,832.
