Roubini Say Italy May Leave Eurozone

Nouriel Roubini wrote a column for the FT in which he said Italy may have to leave the eurozone.

The reason would be that Europe would not have the capital to bail the country out. This would cause the need for it to move back to its own currency, and probably default.

The economist wrote, Italy may, like other periphery countries, (may) need to exit the monetary union and go back to a national currency, thus triggering an effective break-up of the eurozone.
