The data-integration software firm announced it likely generated sales of $188 million to $190 million in the second-quarter, well short of the $217.4 million analysts predicted, according to a compilation by Bloomberg. Results will come out July 26. Before Friday, the 52-week low was $34.15.
Shares of Acme Packet (NASDAQ: PKT) dropped 14.20% to $15.79 on trading volume of 3.3 million shares. The company forecasts second-quarter earnings of 12 cents to 13 cents a share on revenue of $66 million to $68 million, well short of the 18 cents a share on revenue of $73.9 million analysts polled by Thomson Reuters predicted . Results will come out July 26. Before Friday, the 52-week low was $17.18.
