The 52-Week Low Club for Tuesday

July 14, 2015: Here are four stocks among the 43 equities making new 52-week lows today.

Navient Corp. (NASDAQ: NAVI) posted a new 52-week low on Tuesday. Shares dropped more than 14% to a low of $15.76 from Monday’s closing price of $18.36. The stock’s 52-week high is $22.71. Volume totaled around 7 million shares, more than 3-times higher than the stock’s daily average of around 2 million. The company reduced guidance after markets closed last night.

Vince Holding Corp. (NYSE: VNCE) dropped nearly 21% on Tuesday to post a new 52-week low at $9.46 after closing at $11.96 on Monday. The stock’s 52-week high is $39.08. Share volume totaled around 3.5 million, about 9-times higher than the daily average of around 360,000 shares traded. The high-end clothing maker’s CEO resigned yesterday.

Itaú Unibanco Holding SA (NYSE: ITUB) dropped 1.1% on Tuesday to post a new 52-week low of $10.00 against a 52-week high of $18.49. The stock closed at $10.11 on Monday night. Volume totaled nearly 5.5 million shares, about 60% below the daily average of around 13 million. The Brazilian bank had no specific news today.

Mead Johnson Nutrition Co. (NYSE: MJN) dropped nearly 2% on Tuesday to post a new 52-week low of $87.88 after closing at $89.59 on Monday. The stock’s 52-week high is $105.45. Share volume totaled about 2 million shares, about 20% above the daily average of around 1.6 million. The company had no specific news today.
