Top Analyst Upgrades and Downgrades: Amazon, Adobe, AMD, Apple, BlackRock, Broadcom, Caterpillar, Deere, Microsoft, Morgan Stanley, Oracle, Slack and More

EPR Properties (NYSE: EPR) was maintained as Buy but the target price was slashed to $50 from $78 at Janney. The stock closed down 36% at $28.29 on Thursday and is down from a 52-week high of $71.29.

Fuel Tech Inc. (NASDAQ: FTEK) was downgraded to Neutral from Buy at H.C. Wainwright.

IDEX Corp. (NYSE: IEX) was raised to Buy from Neutral with a $147 target price (versus a $123.14 close and down from a prior $151 target price) at Janney.

Kraft Heinz Co. (NASDAQ: KHC) was raised to Neutral from Sell and its target price was raised to $28 from $27 (versus a $20.06 close) at Goldman Sachs.

Morgan Stanley (NYSE: MS) was raised to Buy from Neutral but the target price was cut to $43 from $52 at Goldman Sachs. Morgan Stanley closed down 15% at $31.31 on Thursday, with a prior consensus target price of $58.43.

Oracle Corp. (NYSE: ORCL) was down 11% at $39.80 on Thursday ahead of earnings, but the reaction afterward had shares up over 8% at $43.12. Wedbush reiterated it as Neutral with a $48 target price. Raymond James maintained its Outperform rating but cut its target price to $56 from $61. The prior consensus target price was $54.85.

Otter Tail Corp. (NASDAQ: OTTR) was downgraded to Sector Weight from Overweight at KeyBanc Capital Markets.

Rubicon Project Inc. (NYSE: RUBI) was named as the Bull of the Day at Zacks, which said that investors should look to buy the recent panic move. Shares most recently closed at $6.09 and have a consensus price target of $12.90.

Sempra Energy (NYSE: SRE) was downgraded to Sector Weight from Overweight at KeyBanc Capital Markets. It closed down 15.2% at $104.27 on Thursday.

Six Flags Entertainment Corp. (NYSE: SIX) was named as the Zacks Bear of the Day stock. The firm said that this new pandemic may have put the nails in the coffin for Six Flags. Shares last closed at $13.49, with a consensus price target of $33.27.

Slack Technologies Inc. (NYSE: WORK) was down 9.6% at $21.35 ahead of earnings on Thursday and was indicated down over 6% at $20.00 on Friday. Wedbush maintained it as Underperform with a $14 target price.

TransUnion (NYSE: TRU) was downgraded to Neutral from Outperform at Robert W. Baird.

U.S. Bancorp (NYSE: USB) was raised to Neutral from Sell but its target price was lowered to $38 from $48 (versus a $31.61 close, after a 12.7% drop) at Goldman Sachs.

Vir Biotechnology Inc. (NASDAQ: VIR) was downgraded to Neutral from Buy at Goldman Sachs. The stock was actually up 11.3% on Thursday but was indicated down almost 7% at $35.05 on Friday.

Vivint Smart Home Inc. (NYSE: VVNT) was downgraded to Sell from Hold at Deutsche Bank.

Waste Management Inc. (NYSE: WM) was downgraded to Neutral from Buy at Goldman Sachs. The shares closed down 11.1% at $97.74 on Thursday, and the prior consensus target price was $132.75.

WEC Energy Group Inc. (NYSE: WEC) was raised to Overweight from Sector Weight with a $96 target price at KeyBanc Capital Markets. It closed down about 6% at $91.64 on Thursday.

World Wrestling Entertainment Inc. (NYSE: WWE) was maintained as Buy but its target price was lowered to $45 from $55 (versus a $32.38 close, after a 16.1% drop) at Needham.

SunTrust Robinson Humphrey announced target price reductions on its apartment real estate investment trust (REIT) coverage. The firm noted that the threat the coronavirus poses to apartment REITs is job losses, although the property type should remain somewhat defensive. The tickers included AIV, AVB, CPT, ESS, MAA and APTS.

SunTrust Robinson Humphrey also reexamined its hotel REIT dividend sustainability and noted some of the dividends had looked stretched even before the coronavirus took occupancy rates down sharply. The firm’s analysis indicated that their dividend coverage is at high risk of being cut for the following tickers (in order): RLJ, PEB, RHP, PK and DRH.
