Prediction: Broadcom Stock Could Be Much Higher by 2027

Broadcom designs chips for Google, Meta, and OpenAI, beats earnings quarter after quarter, and still trades at a discount to the broader market. Here is the specific scenario where all of that adds up to a stock that more than…

Broadcom (NASDAQ:AVGO | AVGO Price Prediction) has turned into the custom-silicon partner for frontier AI. It makes Google’s TPUs, Meta’s MTIA chips and OpenAI’s Jalapeno accelerator, and it expects Anthropic to become its largest XPU customer in 2027. The stock hasn’t kept pace with the business.

Shares are up only 3.29% year-to-date, even though they gained 700.97% over five years. I think that gap is the setup for the next leg higher. Here’s what Broadcom needs to do to hit $600 per share in 2027.

Wall Street Already Sees Nearly 50% Upside in Broadcom

Analysts are strongly bullish. The consensus 1-year target is $531.85, which is 49.6% above today’s price of $355.55. There are 8 Strong Buy and 37 Buy ratings on the stock, and no Sells.

For fiscal 2027, analysts forecast revenue of $173.5 billion, up 64%, and EPS of $19.3814, up 66%. That EPS estimate has dropped from $19.5823 60 days ago.

Still, Broadcom has now beaten EPS estimates for nine straight quarters. In the most recent quarter it earned $3.32 against a forecast of $3.24. That record suggests the actual numbers could come in above the forecasts.

An infographic titled 'Can It Hit $600 in 2027? AVGO • NASDAQ'. It displays a line chart showing AVGO stock price performance from 2023 to 2027, with a current price of $355.55 on September 30, 2026. A Wall Street 1-Year Price Target of $531.85 is indicated, and a bold target of $600 for 2027 is highlighted. Two bar charts present growth estimates: Revenue is $106.0B in 2026 and $173.5B in 2027 (+64%), and EPS is $11.66 in 2026 and $19.38 in 2027 (+66%). A quote from Hock Tan, CEO, is included. Four bullet points list 'CATALYSTS FOR $600', followed by a section 'IT'S HAPPENED BEFORE' with a bar chart showing annual returns: 2024 (+110%), 2023 (+104%), 2014 (+93%), and 2013 (+71%). Three bullet points detail 'RISKS TO WATCH'. The bottom section provides a 'THE BOTTOM LINE' verdict on the $600 target. The infographic uses a dark background with green for positive indicators and yellow warning symbols for risks.

Here’s the Math That Gets Broadcom to $600

Broadcom trades at 18x fiscal 2027 earnings, which is below the S&P 500’s forward multiple of about 21x to 23x. At $600, it would trade at 31x. That’s a premium, but it would buy growth that is several times faster than the market’s.

CEO Hock Tan also said Broadcom is “very much on target to exceed $30 in earnings per share in fiscal 2028.” Measured against that goal, $600 is just 20x earnings.

What Could Push Broadcom to $600?

  • AI revenue doubling: Management expects AI semiconductor revenue of $115 billion in fiscal 2027, then $230 billion in fiscal 2028. Tan said “our demand actually exceeds this outlook and we will work to improve supply.”
  • Gigawatt-scale deployments: Anthropic plans five gigawatts of TPU v8i in 2027, and OpenAI’s Jalapeno is on track for 1.3 gigawatts.
  • Operating leverage: Operating income rose 171% on revenue growth of 85.5%. Free cash flow was $13.66 billion, or 46% of revenue.
  • Networking leadership: Broadcom has taped out Tomahawk 7, which it calls the industry’s first 200-terabit-per-second Ethernet switch.
  • Near-term proof point: Broadcom guided fourth-quarter revenue to $34.8 billion, up 93%, and reports on December 9, 2026.

Broadcom Has Cleared This Bar Four Times Since 2010

Reaching $600 requires a gain of 69%. Broadcom has done better than that before. Based on year-end adjusted prices, shares rose 110% in 2024, 104% in 2023, 93% in 2014 and 71% in 2013.

With a market value near $1.69 trillion, matching those gains will be harder. It’s still well within the range of what this stock has done.

$600 Is a Stretch, but Broadcom Has the Engine

Getting to $600 means a 69% gain. Nearly 50% upside is already in Wall Street’s sights, earnings are expected to grow 66%, and management’s AI outlook calls for revenue to double.

Real hurdles remain. A few hyperscalers account for much of Broadcom’s demand, and the whole thesis leans on the AI data-center expansion continuing at pace (we featured seven non-chipmaker suppliers riding that same wave in a free report you can grab here).

The company also depends on getting enough wafers, substrates and HBM memory, and it still has debt from the VMware deal. Such returns shouldn’t be expected every year, but this is the model for how Broadcom could deliver outsized returns in 2027.
