AI Cardano Price Prediction: How Much Could ADA Be Worth by December 31 After a 25% Gain and the RealFi Launch?

Cardano just posted a 25% monthly gain while sitting 92% below its all-time high, and a brand-new RealFi platform could tip the balance on where ADA lands before the year closes out.

Claude, Anthropic’s AI model, anticipates that Cardano (CRYPTO:ADA) will end 2026 at $0.31, representing a 26% increase from its current price. This projection credits the recent launch of RealFi with contributing an additional $0.02 to this target. This price forecast follows a strong 25% gain over the past month, but these figures are Claude’s estimates, not guarantees.

As of October 3, 2026, ADA is trading around $0.25, having experienced a slight decline of about 4% in the last 24 hours. More broadly, ADA’s performance has been disappointing: it’s down 26% for the year, 71% over the last 12 months, and an astonishing 92% from its all-time high of $3.09 in September 2021.

Claude Predicts ADA Will Reach $0.31 by Year-End

Claude is interpreting ADA’s 25% monthly gain and 37% increase over three months as positive momentum that could carry into year-end. However, it expects this growth rate to slow, as recoveries after deep losses usually see gains diminish before extending, similar to what happened after ADA’s late-September surge.

Thus, the estimated target of $0.31 assumes ADA can sustain most of its recent gains and climb at a more moderate pace. Without the RealFi boost, Claude’s end-of-year estimate would drop to $0.29.

Understanding market value—price multiplied by the total coins in circulation—helps clarify what each price target requires from buyers. Currently, ADA’s market value is approximately $9.2 billion, based on 37.5 billion coins in circulation.

ADA Price Market Value Gain Needed
$0.25 (current) $9.2 billion n/a
$0.31 $11.6 billion 26%
$0.40 $15 billion 63%
$1.00 $37.5 billion 307%

Claude estimates there’s a 25% chance of ADA hitting $0.40 by the end of 2026. Achieving this goal would require funds to flow from Bitcoin (CRYPTO:BTC) into smaller cryptocurrencies, even though Bitcoin currently holds about 59% of the total crypto market share.

Market commentator Lark Davis noted on September 29 that ADA has a “cult following” strong enough to potentially push it back to $1, although he did not specify a timeline and referred to Cardano as a “ghost town” earlier that month. Claude assesses the chances of ADA reaching $1 by the end of 2027 at just 10%, attributing this caution to loyal holders supporting a price floor rather than driving a substantial increase.

Launched on October 1, RealFi and its USDr stablecoin aim to inject capital into loans for operational businesses and trade deals. The USDr token is designed to maintain a dollar peg while offering interest to its holders, with RealFi’s pilot network targeting yields of up to 9% annually.

Claude’s target for ADA includes an additional $0.02 from this launch, as it expects previously idle stablecoin capital to flow in and boost activity on the Cardano network. Nevertheless, the impact of such products typically develops over time, so further assessment is needed as more data on deposit figures becomes available.

Despite a disagreement regarding Midnight, Cardano’s privacy-focused sister network, Claude has kept its forecast stable. Cyber Capital founder Justin Bons raised concerns about Midnight’s validators adopting closed-source code and a lack of decentralization in control over the NIGHT (CRYPTO:NIGHT) supply. In response, Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson denounced the allegations as unfounded, saying approved operators manage the network with a focus on decentralization.

ADA’s Rally Breaks Down Below $0.20

A key level to watch is $0.20, where ADA’s recent rally began—currently about 19% below that price. A significant drop below this level could erase the gains made in the past month, driving ADA towards $0.18, a level it reached three months ago, and potentially down to the $0.15 to $0.16 range, where solid buying support was established in July.

Can ADA Reach $0.31 by December 31?

Claude’s prediction of ADA reaching $0.31 appears achievable, while the $0.40 target seems ambitious, and hitting $1 by 2027 seems unlikely. For ADA to achieve a 26% increase in under three months—similar to its recent monthly performance—it must first surpass its late-September highs above $0.26, roughly 6% higher, while Bitcoin remains stable.

Will this Cardano price prediction hold true? RealFi’s initial deposit figures may offer more insight than charts, and consistent growth could support an even higher target. However, if ADA closes below $0.20, it could erase recent gains and undermine Claude’s December prediction.
