AI Price Prediction: ChatGPT Predicts Where Ethereum, Chainlink and Uniswap Could Be by the End of 2026

ChatGPT ran the numbers on Ethereum, Chainlink, and Uniswap heading into 2026, and the results reveal a surprising split between which coins stand the best shot at hitting their targets and which faces the steepest climb despite its size.

ChatGPT’s AI price prediction indicates that by December 31, 2026, Ethereum (CRYPTO: ETH) could be priced at $2,650, Chainlink (CRYPTO: LINK) at $13.50, and Uniswap (CRYPTO: UNI) at $8.50. These targets are based on starting prices of $2,329 for ETH, $11.44 for LINK, and $7.01 for UNI, all slightly above their current trading levels.

This month has been tough for these cryptocurrencies. As of October 26, ETH trades at $2,301, down 13.2% this month and 53.3% from its all-time high. LINK has fallen to $11.39, down 19.8% over the past 30 days, while UNI is down to $6.96, a 27.2% drop in the same timeframe.

In terms of potential, ChatGPT sees UNI with a 45% chance of showing the largest gains among the three, followed by LINK at 35%, and ETH at 20%. These probabilities reflect their relative rankings, not whether they will rise. So, can these projects hit ChatGPT’s year-end figures?

ChatGPT’s Base Case Could Lift ETH’s Market Cap to $324 Billion

Bright blue lines radiate from the coin, connecting it to six circular blue and grey icons. These icons represent various concepts: a dollar sign with coins, a smartphone with refresh arrows, a handshake, a group of business people, a stock market chart trending up, and a news icon with an upward arrow. The background is a dark blue, stylized network pattern overlaying a blurred urban city lights.

Coin Bear Case Base Case Bull Case
ETH $1,800 (-22.7%) $2,650 (+13.8%) $3,400 (+46%)
LINK $7.50 (-34.4%) $13.50 (+18%) $19 (+66.1%)
UNI $4.50 (-35.8%) $8.50 (+21.3%) $12 (+71.2%)

Market capitalization is calculated by multiplying the price by the number of coins in circulation. Currently, Ethereum’s market cap stands at about $281 billion, making it the second-largest cryptocurrency. If it reaches ChatGPT’s base prediction, its market cap could rise to around $324 billion. Chainlink, currently 16th with an $8.7 billion market cap, could rise to about $10.4 billion.

Meanwhile, Uniswap ranks 26th at around $4.3 billion, potentially bumping up to about $5.3 billion.

The smaller coins face more pressure from supply growth. Approximately 766.8 million LINK are in circulation out of a maximum of 1 billion, while about 624.5 million UNI are currently circulating against a total supply of 886.7 million. The fully diluted valuation—what the market cap would be if every token were trading—sits at around $11.4 billion for LINK and $6.2 billion for UNI.

In their peaks, LINK reached $52.70 on May 9, 2021, while UNI hit $44.92 on May 2, 2021. Given the increase in circulating tokens since then, it would require substantially more capital to reach those previous highs. UNI is currently trading 84.5% below its peak, while LINK is 78.4% lower.

Conversely, all 122.16 million Ethereum tokens are already in circulation. ETH peaked at $4,946 on August 24, 2025, and ChatGPT’s bullish target of $3,400 is still about 31% below that record.

Ether ETF Outflows and Glamsterdam’s Delay Weigh on ETH

Spot Ether ETFs, which hold ETH directly and trade like stocks, saw significant outflows, totaling $225 million the week of October 19. Cumulative net inflows, total money added since launch minus withdrawals, fell to about $12.71 billion on October 22 from roughly $13.96 billion on September 28.

During this stretch, only three days saw net inflows, while the biggest drop came on October 6, which saw a $201.9 million outflow. ChatGPT highlights the return of sustained ETF inflows as the most influential change that could alter its outlook on ETH.

Furthermore, Ethereum’s upcoming upgrade, Glamsterdam, is awaiting a launch date. Its testnet launch, a practice run before the main network, has been delayed, with no new date set. As a result, ETH holders lack a scheduled technical milestone to look forward to before the year’s end.

LINK and UNI Tend to Follow ETH, With CME Futures Adding a UNI Catalyst

ChatGPT suggests that when ETH rebounds, LINK may outperform it by 5 to 15 percentage points and UNI by around 10 to 25 percentage points. However, these estimates are projections based on modeling assumptions and are not supported by verified historical data. For LINK, increased paid network usage and reserves becoming token demand would significantly shift its outlook.

On October 19, CME Group (NASDAQ: CME | CME Price Prediction) launched UNI futures, which are contracts allowing investors to buy or sell an asset at a set price at a future date. ChatGPT suggests that a return to spot buying, along with increased CME open interest, could improve its outlook for UNI.

Despite this, UNI fell 5% during the week after the futures launch, following an impressive 78.4% gain over the previous 90 days.

Can ETH, LINK and UNI Reach ChatGPT’s AI Price Prediction by the End of 2026?

Our assessment suggests LINK and UNI have a realistic chance of reaching their base targets, while ETH faces a tougher challenge, especially given ongoing ETF outflows. LINK traded at $14.15 and UNI at $9.70, both above their base predictions.

At those prices, $1,000 in each could grow to about $1,138 in ETH, $1,180 in LINK, and $1,213 in UNI, turning $3,000 into around $3,531—a 17.7% gain. However, UNI could fall up to 35.8% in ChatGPT’s bear case, compared with 22.7% for ETH.

For ETH to succeed, it needs to close above its 50-day moving average of $2,543, surpass the 20-day average of $2,453, and show a week of net ETF inflows. LINK needs to reclaim its December 31, 2025, price above $12.18, while UNI should rise above its October 19 price of $7.31, alongside an increase in CME open interest.
